忙裡偷閒 紐西蘭總理觀看基襪大戰

許多國家領袖正在紐約參與今年的聯合國大會，除了繁忙的會議，他們也必須想辦法在空閒時，放鬆自己一下。

紐西蘭總理凱伊(John Key)29日就跑到美國職棒大聯盟(MLB)紐約洋基(New York Yankees)的主場，觀看洋基和波士頓紅襪(Boston Red Sox)的比賽。

凱伊在第一局比賽時表示：「這是完全獨一無二的經驗」、「在別的地方不可能有」。

目前，並沒有紐西蘭的球員效力於美國職棒大聯盟。

除了凱伊之外，隸屬於荷蘭的自治國古拉索(Curacao)總理懷特曼(Ben Whiteman)也到場觀戰。在比賽開始前，懷特曼還特別向洋基內野手葛瑞戈爾斯(Didi Gregorius)致意。出生於荷蘭的葛瑞戈爾斯在幾年前曾接受古拉索政府的封爵。
